Y’all! We did a thing today! We bought furniture for our first apartment! All we can say is God is so good! We didn’t think we would be looking for a place so soon. Our minds were set on August of this year when timing seemed like it would be most ideal. Well, so much for our plans! ;)
We really do believe everything happens for a reason and maybe not in the exact moment it feels this way but ultimately we trust the process and know that God is always watching out. It helps to have understanding, support and encouragement from your partner when faith may be a bit wavering. Praying for guidance and patience that it would all work out. We are blessed that we trusted fully and acknowledged Him in all things and not just the idea of finding a “perfect apartment.” This whole process was much more than that. We can’t plan everything. Sometimes you have to be okay with “timing” not going exactly the way YOU want it to. We don’t need to debate with God about a decision or a purpose that he is already planning and directing you towards. Through this we found a place that we both felt comfortable with, that we agreed would be a place to call home, to feel safe and ultimately envision starting roots in a new marriage. How exciting is that?! Extremely. Overwhelming in the best way possible? Yes.
We searched for about 3 weeks and landed on our location. Move in date secured and now furniture acquired. Valentine’s Day is our move date!❤️
